HEH / International / Brexit
The Withdrawal Agreement ratified by the British Parliament and the European Parliament on January 2020 has announced the official exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union on 31 January 2020. The agreement ensures that the UK and EU enter a transition period until 31 December 2020, a period during which every Erasmus+ mobility will continue as normal (within the framework of 2014-2020 Erasmus+ Programme).
In 2021, other agreements will be drawn between both parties in order to ensure the continuation of scientists and students exchanges. Indeed, the United Kingdom is ready to consider participation in certain European programmes, once the European Union has agreed the baseline in its 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework.
