for international students (by Wallonie-Bruxelles Campus)
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation and one of the biggest in Europe. Their mission is to support and represent international students, thus providing opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students.
ESN is present in more than 1000 Higher Education Institutions from over 40 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding. We have around 15,000 active members that are in many sections supported by so called buddies mainly taking care of international students. Thus, ESN involves around 40,000 young people offering its services to around 350,000 international students every year.
How to become an ESN member as an Erasmus student?
To do so, you will have to buy the ESN card which is sold at the beginning of each semester by the local departments.
ESN cards are sold in the exchange destination city because it is a member card for Erasmus and international students and trainees (incoming students).
If you are interested in getting the member card, go to the website of ESN Mons: https://esnmons.be/.
