Master's studies in Industrial Engineering: Surveyor

In addition to a strong common part specific to the industrial engineer in building and where building design and stability skills are developed, the main approaches of the surveyor engineer's training are:

  • Geodesy, the science that studies the dimensions and shape of the Earth;
  • Topography, from the survey and representation on a plan of the ground's details until the positioning of new points on it;
  • Bathymetry, the science of measuring the depths of the seabed, lakes and rivers;
  • Land administration (cadastral plan) and town planning;
  • The law applied to land and real properties, financial evaluation;
  • Works' pathology.

Particular emphasis is given to the implementation of modern techniques such as GNSS satellite navigation (global navigation satellite system), computer-aided design and computer-based field data processing.

Bridge programmes' opportunities

If you already have a short-type degree in building, we also organize a bridge programme to the Master’s courses in Industrial Engineering - Surveyor. You will have direct access to the two years of Master with the success of a specific year within the bridge programme.
