Master studies in Industrial Engineering Sciences - Building
The studies of industrial engineering in building are spread over 5 years. They focus both on theoretical training and practice, thanks to labs and contextualised projects (coming from a professional environment).
The first Bachelor in industrial engineering sciences is the same for all course choices (Building, Computer Science, Life Data Technologies). It is a preparatory year aiming at updating knowledge in basic sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics) and a year of introduction to analytical approaches.
Year two in industrial engineering, whose courses are partly common to all sections (Building, Computer Science, Life Data Technologies) is a transitory year where we deal with basic sciences in depth (physics, chemistry, mathematics) and where a first course choice has to be made between Building, Computer Science and Life Data Technologies. We study the first notions of standards.
In year three of Bachelor in Industrial Engineering Sciences, we start studying the bases of building, the chosen specialisation. In addition, a six-week observation internship is organised in order to get students familiar with a professional environment.
Finally, for their two years of Master in Industrial Engineering Sciences in Building, the student has to choose between two specialisations (see above).
