The Department of Sciences and Technologies of Haute École en Hainaut offers a long-cycle and university-level schooling. Organised in two cycles, it leads to a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (a first 3-year cycle) and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (a second cycle in 2 years).
From the second year of the first cycle, the training offers groups of course choices in: building, surveyor, computer science and life data technology*. A 6-week work experience in a company is organised during the third year.

For the second cycle, Masters are offered in the following course choices:
Half of the last year is dedicated to professional integration activities, including the 13-week work experience in a company and the final dissertation.
The training is both operational, contextual, conceptual and rigorous. Its main purpose is to integrate the basic scientific principles through technological and learning applications within industrial environments. The final goal is to prepare the student to the requirements of the engineer's profession: initiative, flexibility, skilfulness, creativity and responsibility.
