From the menu "Parameters – Preferences" the following window : "Configuration options" appears.
By default, the "General" tab is displayed.
Saving options :
Several saving options are possible.
The automatic saving is very interesting.
However, be aware that any modification of the programming or in the design of the virtual material will be automatically saved under the same file name.
As a consequence the user risks losing all prior informations.
Display of the dialog box :
Save under... allows to keep a record of the evolution history of an application or of an entire project.
Edition of the mnemonics when setting in place an Input or an Output :
If the box is not checked, there is no mnemonic associated with placing of an input or output (I/O) or an internal bit. However, a mnemonic can be added via the
Commentary and addressing menu or at the time when editing the objects.
If the box is checked, each time you set in place an input or an output or an internal bit, an edition window asks you to supply the associated mnemonic.
An "info bubble" points out this denomination, and at the time of the export to the automaton, this name can be recovered.
