Besides a strong common part which is specific to the industrial engineer in building, where skills in building design and stability are developed, courses about building's environmental and energy design are offered, such as:
size calculation of efficient heating facilities, air conditioning, lighting, etc.;
how to use free and renewable energy and to set up low-energy houses;
the carrying out of buildings' energy audits;
the approach of indoor and outdoor comfort regarding acoustic, visual and breathing aspects;
water issues: supply, sanitation, drainage, water treatment plants;
energy management and design of sustainable buildings;
environmental law.
Access to bridge programmes
If you already have a short degree in building, we also organize a bridge programme to Master studies in Industrial Engineering in Building. You will have direct access to the two years of Master if you pass a specific year of bridge programme.
